Challengermode was founded in 2014 with the mission to make esports truly accessible for regular gamers. Today we're building a platform that provides the fundamental online esports infrastructure for all relevant stakeholders within the ecosystem.

With 2.5 billion people worldwide playing computer games and over 220 million people per month watching professional esports tournaments, Challengermode's platform is a place for regular gamers to congregate, practice or compete in esports. Our best-in-class tech automates tournament creation and allows gamers to easily play competitions across any device or console while enabling community building and monetization at scale for organizers of all kinds.


Role description

With a rapidly growing user base of gamers and tournament organizers, we are now looking for a dedicated community support representative to strengthen our community team.  Because your shifts will be during peak NA/SA times it is highly merited if your timezone accommodates those hours.

Our community team goes above and beyond every day to make sure our users get the best possible experience using Challengermode. With our North America expansion around the corner, this is the perfect time to join us on our mission of making esports truly available for everyone. If you’re a person with a lot of empathy and a passion for esports, this is the job for you.

Your day (or evening) will consist of monitoring and overseeing the Challengermode platform and providing support and service for our user base. It is your responsibility to answer questions via the support chat and communicate closely with the rest of the Challengermode team to help us maintain and improve the platform and our relationship with the users.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming support tickets with quickly and with empathy.
  • Moderate our communities on the platform and external platforms such as Discord, Facebook, Twitter and other social channels.
  • Communicate with our users and participants in different competitions.
  • Help us build our NA team.




Requirments

  • Proven work experience in customer/community service sector
  • Fluent in English both writing and speaking
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
  • Knowing your way around Google Docs and/or Office
  • Service-minded
